Hear from the families who choose Little Farmers Childcare

Above and Beyond

‘Both of my children attended Little Farmers from September 2020 to May 2025, making it a fundamental part of their early years' development.

We’re so grateful for the beautiful setting, the calm, mindful environment, and above all, the nurturing care they received throughout their time there.

Some of the standout experiences they enjoyed include pony encounters, yoga, animal care, woodwork, campfire feasts, and woodland scavenger hunts - all of which sparked their creativity, resilience and love for the outdoors.

I was especially impressed by the way the team supported my son, who has multiple food allergies. From the very beginning, they communicated clearly and carefully, establishing safe menus and gaining a thorough understanding of his medication. They consistently went above and beyond to adapt activities like baking so that he could take part fully and safely alongside his friends.

Thank you to everyone at Little Farmers. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a thoughtful and unique childcare setting - one that has undoubtedly shaped our children’s curiosity, confidence, and respect for the natural world.’

Genuinely Caring

‘Choosing this nursery for our child was honestly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we visited, we were drawn to the setting a place where children are encouraged to embrace nature, explore the outdoors, and simply enjoy being children. It’s a nursery that moves away from screens and instead focuses on helping little ones live their best lives in the early years, learning about nature, animals, food, and the world around them.

The balance they’ve struck is incredible - when the children are inside the barn, it’s a rich and engaging learning environment, thoughtfully designed to support their development. You can clearly see how much thought has gone into what they want children to experience and learn.

Our son has learned so much during his time here. The staff have helped shape his early development in the most caring and positive way. Not only did they support him daily but they also went above and beyond to prepare him for his next step, school.

They took the time to communicate directly with his new school, sharing valuable insights into how he learns, what motivates him, what can trigger him, and how best to support him. They even arranged for the school to visit him in the nursery setting so he could be seen in a familiar environment which was incredibly thoughtful and made a huge difference.

The staff have been outstanding from start to finish. Efficient, warm, and genuinely caring. The communication has always been clear and reassuring, and the staff-to-child ratio is exactly what it should be. We’ve always felt confident and supported as parents, knowing our son was in the best possible hands.

We’ll even miss just going to collect him. From the moment you arrive, you feel like part of the Little Farmers’ family. It’s not just a handover or an app update - the team take the time to engage, share how the day has really gone, what’s gone well, where support is needed and what’s next. They’re open, honest, and always have time for a proper chat. It’s this kind of genuine care and connection that sets them apart.

We are so thankful to every single member of the team for creating such a special, nurturing environment. It’s a truly inspiring place, and we’ll always be grateful for the time we spent as part of the Little Farmers family.
