Here at Little Farmers Childcare we aim to offer the best possible childcare in beautiful farm settings. We follow a Forest School ethos and aim for the children in our care to be outdoors as much as possible. We have two current settings, each based on working family farms and a third on the way. Both our current settings were rated “Good” in all areas by Ofted in inspections in 2024 and 2025:

Coming soon! We are opening a third Little Farmers setting on the edge of Budleigh Salterton (EX9 7AY). Little Farmers @ South Farm will be in historic farm buildings on the beautiful South Farm, and is opening in January 2027.

Children spend their days playing and exploring outdoors, with Forest School activities, ponies, sheep, chickens, watching the cows graze, exploring fields, playing in woodland and orchards, gardening and growing their own vegetables, picking apples. We also have fun, cosy indoor cabins for meals, naps, cookery, storytime and all sorts of fun play as well.
